Research & Development

Collaboratory provides support to the industry in developing, testing, and implementing new cutting-edge technologies in the areas of Cyber Security and IoT. In the period 2021-2024, our team will be actively developing research partnerships that will include: joint project development, staff exchanges, visiting researchers, guest lecturers, sponsorship, consortia development to target EU research funding, visiting CISO fellowships, and other opportunities.

Additionally, Collaboratory works closely with the Cyber Security Research Group at TU Dublin, which has been active since 2007.  The group has responded to the widespread recognition of the serious growing shortage of college graduates to meet industry and research demands in the areas of network security and digital forensics.

The lab currently consists of 15 researchers covering research in Cloud Forensics, Covert Communications on the Internet, Addressing Cyber Security Knowledge Gap, Cyber-Bullying, Security of the Internet of Things and the Resilience in SDN for Enterprise Systems.
